09/18 Etiquette
Quote From: nataliedwDr. Phil missed it on this one. I also saw the today show interview. I too saw that when she sat down she was clearly wearing white underwear. There was a CLEAR view of her crotch. Also, when she tried to cross her legs, the "skirt" rode up so high as to expose half of her buttocks. I would have been offended were I forced to fly with her. I also saw a different photo of her "outfit" taken at the airline/airport. Her tank top was pulled down to just above the nipple in that photo, and her skirt was pulled up to just below her crotch. Just because she pulls her top up and skirt down to make it appear more decent on her interviews doesn't mean she was dressed appropriately at the time. If I had a child, or husband even, on that flight, I would have complained. I think it is a sad commentary on our society that people would defend this woman, and that she be able to sue an airline over dressing like a prostitute and offending other paying passengers. Why doesn't she feel embarrassed or ashamed of her behavior? If I had worn a skirt so small I inadvertently showed my panties (and possibly some of my butt cheeks as well) to a airplane full of people or a national audience on the Today show, I would be humiliated! Not indignant! And I don't feel you have a right to sue a company for asking you to stop showing your goods to the rest of their customers. I mean go work at the Bunny Ranch, they'll love you there. I am frequently disgusted by what passes for acceptable attire these days. Not that I am a prude, but my husband and I have been to some very nice restaurants and they allow people in wearing sweat pants, athletic suits, ratty jean shorts and flip flops. Everywhere I go I see some girl or woman in pajama pants in public. Just today I saw a young girl getting off of a school bus wearing pajama pants. Who lets their children go to school dressed like that? I think it is dispicable that people can not bother to throw on a decent pair of jeans or slacks to go out to a restaurant. There doesn't seem to be any standards anymore. I totally agree! I thought I was the only one that noticed her flash on the Today Show. Her dress is appropriate for her job at Hooters! Shame on her mom for not teaching her there are appropriate times for certain types of dress. Plus she had to have her mommy write a letter to the airline - she couldn't do it herself?!? She was just waiting for an apology so she can go forth with her lawsuit - they admitted they were wrong so they owe me money. She's not filing a lawsuit to get Southwest's policy changed she just wants to get rich quick! I seriously doubt the airline employee announced over the loudspeaker so everyone could hear the conversation. Why didn't Dr Phil present Southwest's side of the story? She refused the tickets so she can say she didn't get anything from them. Thanks a lot for screwing all the taxpayers so you can live the high life Kyla. I'm on Southwest's side on this.
