Quote From: xjosephi James is a very insecure man. He needs some personal development / self realization and it will probably come after another divorce.
There should be equality in a household and a leader needs to show this by example. The man needs to be strong spiritually and his strength will be followed.
What is happening in America is that some men are not strong enough mentally and cannot cope with the stress of a committed relationship.
I see many men such as coworkers and friends being dominated in their relationships by their wives and girlfriends. This is also wrong and leads to problems.
James' problem is not a race issue but a spiritual development issue. Maybe this is a problem across the land.
I'm all for strong, self-empowered men. Unfortunately the "Alpha" male role only really works in romance novels as very few women want to be dominated (outside the bedroom). Dominance nothing to do with leadership or superiority - it has to do with the desire to control.
In the end, for a truly good, healthy, long lasting relationship - there should be no one dominating anyone (outside of fun and games). Relationships are a cooperative partnership where both parties share the leadership. Granted at some times, the male will take the lead and at other times, the female will. If one has to lead all the time, the relationship is unbalanced.
