You can't be serious! I am ABSOLUTELY disgusted with how unsympathetic you are and how pig headed. Do you not realize that this ACTUALLY happens! Do you think that those women on the show made it all up to get on television? Women die everyday from being battered by their men. And there are so many women that suffer from the emotional side of abuse as well as the physically. It's not a joke. These men on the show maybe don't want to be married.... the truth is... THEY DON'T DESERVE TO BE!!!! If your married....I send lots of sympathy to your wife. God bless her! You seem like a real catch! HAHAHA!!!!!!!

When I first read your comment.... I was with the first lady and said....huh? But I get what you are saying. Today's show is about men who abuse women. And it is reality. And it is true that there are women who abuse men. And I think that is what you are saying. I think alot of times we try to look at other people's situations and interpret them thru our own. My husband's sister is also abusive to her husband and to me. She controls EVERYTHING. She bosses him around and makes him do his jobs and her jobs. The only thing he is allowed to say is: YES DEAR. That's it. Nothing else. She is outrageous. She has alot of money and buys herself alot of expensive stuff particularly jewelry. She bought herself a $15,000 ring recently, but will not as so much spend a dollar on anyone. She never visits my house. (She can't afford it.), but she calls my house almost every day. She does not say hi to me, but requests my husband and talks to him and he says uh huh, uh huh, yeah...... About 3 years ago she influenced my husband to charge up $4000 worth of jewelry FOR HIMSELF and then he screamed at me 50 times to try to find $2 to buy milk. I did tape record this conversation and he swear out flatly denies it happened. I think certain people LOOK CUTE, but have these personality disorders on other shows: ADHD, ODD, OCD, Critical Spouse.... and like today Controlling. But I do know what you mean. It could be female to male.

The wives will be more relieved. Sheesh.......obviously you were't paying attention to the show or you would have seen that these women were not permitted to nag or fill the husband with tips. Kids learn from the parents...the abuse will be passed down and another generation of mean will be produced. We have to stop it for all the right reasons and let the man walk, but my bet is, he loves being in the situation he is, where else could he mentally hit someone over and over? It's all about his ego.

You are right, there are some women who do try to dominate they're husbands and they are just as wrong as the husbands from the show today. And I myself know quite a few women who have used the children to threaten with and that is even more wrong. But the women today were different, they were hurting along with all the women that post messages in response. They just want support and help. To me it sounds like you are talking from experience and would feel relief if you were left alone, but just b/c this is your case do not assume that it is everybody's.

Sounds to me like perhaps you were abusive towards someone and she finally stood up to you.

Do women nag? From a man's perspective, sure we do at times. A thought to consider, if men who were being nagged would communicate with the women in their lives and not ignore them when they talk, perhaps a woman wouldn't have to repeat herself and be labelled a nag.

I am not sure you grasp the concept of what a healthy relationship is....is it not two people who are able to have open dialogue with each other about how to improve their lives together if one is unhappy?

If the men, any man doesn't want to be married, then he should leave. Why do they have to drive their wives to leave them?

That's a pretty ignorant statement to make. Yes, women can be just as abusive as men (sometimes more so; I've seen it). However, that doesn't justify a man being abusive to a woman. Abuse is never OK, period, whether the man or the woman is the abuser. I don't think you really paid much attention to the show today because those men were VERY controlling and they would NOT feel relieved if their wives left because then they wouldn't have anyone to control.
