Quote From: mlblondieim wondering if i missed something during thisbroadcast. the older daughter seems to have a learning or developmental difficulty. was that discussed? was it related to chemical ingestion or repeated oxygen deprivation? what a hard childhood shes been through. You know I thought the same thing. But they didn't go into at all. I can believe that beating and making a child stop breathing, plus always vomitting would cause mental defects in someone so young. I know when I have bad asthma attack I cant for the life of me think striaght. I use to forget were I was when I was a child, my mom would wake me up and have like a list of questions to make sure I was okay and a few times I didn't answer them correctly thats usually when my mom would take me to the doctors or the ER. I was a sick child, I honestly don't understand how some mothers can be okay with forcing there child to be sick. I remember my mother praying and crying and always giving me the trial test drugs of asthma drugs some would make me vomit, weak, usually never helped with the asthma (lucky my mom only did this for 2 years and finally stopped) and just gave me caffine and lots of fresh air. Its not easy I fear everyday my son might have asthma and I don't want to go through what my mother went through and I don't want my son to know what real pain is. This makes me cry cause there is no reason for them. These parents should take joy in having healthy kids that they can run around with play sports with, and not be stuck in a hospital every day. Sorry I went on I think I have done this many times here I just get so emotional over this as I'm sure you all do, very sad.
