Don't you think your over reacting? Just because he yells at the kids when they don't do what they're told, doesn't mean he's going to beat them (or her). Are you telling me you've never yelled at your kids? If you haven't, then they must be the most spoiled kids in the neighborhood.
I tell my kids to do something and then let it go. Later, if they still haven't done it I tell them again. The third times a charm... then they probably get yelled at... it doesn't mean I'm going to beat them. In fact they would laugh if you asked them if they were worried about me beating them.
Yelling at someone does not equal beating them up.
