i just broke up with a guy I thought of spending my life with. We were together for 15 years. I had two children from a previous relationship. He was really good with them until my oldest was in 1st grade. Then he started saying mean things to hurt my sons feelings. At first I thought maybe he's trying to use reverse psychology. Then years later I thought he just likes to say mean things, cause he started doing it to me. Using information I thought I could trust telling him. but he used it against me. But I stuck with him and tried to let him know that these words HURT! He doesn't care cause now he does it with our own children especially the first. When my other children got older they started to pull away from him and he blames me for not making them face facts. What? I thought. He was hurting them. now our daughter is depressed and is in counceling. He says that he doesn't want our daughters to blame him for anything, he's just parenting. When I went to take my girls to counceling one time, the councelor came out to ask if I will sit in so I did. And the councelor said that I gotta face the fact that hes a good father. WHAT KIND OF FATHER COMPARES,BELITTLES AND GRUMBLES WITH THEIR CHILDREN FIRST THING IN THE MORNING BEFORE SCHOOL??? I told the councelor, You don't have to live with him. And when he comes here he'll tell you what you want to hear. He'll tell his story but in a different version. Good father my butt. I left the office more pissed then ever before. and I never went back. only him and the girls go.
