Replies to '10/17 Sexual Predators?'

This response seems like the writer is generalizing the whole thing. Not all sexual predators of children were themselves abused.  Some sociopaths do this too. I'm sure there are many causative factors and sometimes people are just evil. I personally do not believe that Sex Offenders can be truly rehabilitated. I heard a sex offender speak once and he admitted knowing he was driven towards unacceptable sexual behavior and it made him sick to be hurting children so he had himself castrated.  He knew he couldn't control himself so he took a drastic measure. I give that man credit for knowing himself well enough to do what he had to to protect the innocent from him. Personally I think thats the only way to stop the problem for many of these predators.
