Faith is very powerful, but sometimes God chooses not to intervene with a miracle. You need meds to get your life together. There are meds out there that don't have terrible side effects. I've been on many that do have bad side effects, but I perservered until my doctor and I found some that work for me. Most people with bipolar need more than one med to achieve the right balance. I take Lamictal and Abilify, and I am having very few side effects. Different drugs work for different people, and you just need to keep trying until you find the right ones for you.
