Replies to '10/17 Sexual Predators?'

In my 30 years in law enforcement, investigating sexual assaults and working with child protective services, there have been relatively few innocent people investigated. Many people would like to categorize violations on a continuum from very bad to a little bad but wrong is wrong no matter what the violation is. The eye is focused in a particular persons direction because someone makes a report. Don't blame the professionals for doing their jobs. I'm sure they'd all like to only investigate or handle  the most heinous cases but the truth is intervention also needs to be focused on the little problems before they become bigger.
