My ex sounds just like this guy. His porn addiction started at around 13. When he was 39 he had sex with a 15 yo. I don't think the guy should get off because of his porn addiction. There are lots of prisoners we should release if that is the case. Ultimately he is responsible for his behavior.
You say the girl was 15. I think she should be liable for her actions as well. It is not all the man's fault. When I was 16 I fell in love with a 30 year old and now we are happily married for 6 years now. The girl can and does start a lot of these relationships.
