You can get out of it. Just don't pay the minimum on credit cards. My husband and I are paying off debts 20,000. in six months. It has been hard but we are doing it. We have not been able to go on vacation or anything extravegant but that is ok. It is hard sometimes because my husband is bipolar and when the doctors changes his meds he become manic and goes crazy buying. The doctor has finally found a correct dosage of litium that has really helped. So Things are better. Plus we were scammed for 10,000. this year in a house deal that fell through.
