10/24 Controversial Love Affairs

Quote From: manofgoods

Sorry, but I have to disagree. Any man or woman that has sex with a teenager is considered statutory rape, regardless whatever the child consented to it, or not. No matter how you think about it, it is rape. If the man really didn't want to destroy his family & be behind bars, don't you think that he would've said no to her, told his wife about her actions, & have his wife call her parents on her? Think about it. I don't have any sympathy for rapists at all; I don't see why you do. Therefore, the child is the victim! Not to mention his wife & their children!
I DO believe his wife & children (if they do have any) are victims of his adultry, and he should've said no if he didnt want to destroy his family... but I stand by my opinion about the 15 year old NOT being a victim. If this guy was an ACTUAL rapist, as in he FORCED her, THEN I would NOT feel the least bit of sympathy for him. BUT, If she WILLINGLY CONSENTED (meaning, he's not just saying she did), then he is NOT a rapist & she was NOT raped! And it seems like the only reason, specifically in cases like this (when its consensual), its considered "statutory rape" is because the legal system couldnt think of anything better. If this girl did in fact willing consent, then she needs to take some responsibility as well!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so I won't stone that lady either. But I have to agree with this person's comment. I was a sexually abused child which left alot of scars mentally, emotionally and physically. I flaunted my body to older men all the time because I thought it would make them love me. At that age (15) I was NOT mentally capable of knowing the consequences of my own actions. I slept with quite a few males who could be convicted of statutory rape. Looking back now, I realize that I was VERY lucky to not get pregnant or some sort of STD. I don't care if the girl is flaunting herself to you. YOU are the ADULT!! You don't know if this girl (or boy)has some issues in their past. YOU should be the one to say NO!!! And furthermore, he has a daughter. Does he want some 25 yr old man coming after her? Maybe he should think about those things before sticking his "head" where it doesn't belong!

I guess i do agree to some extent , but you have to agree that some of  these 15 yr olds today dress and act a lot different today then when we were 15,  My mom knew what i had in my closet, and never was anythig to " mature for my age or guess what i was not allowed out of the house, plain & simple I would never think of questioning her out of respect not fear, and never thought of sneeking anythig in or out ,i have seen 15 yr olds that look and act 21 rubbing and kissing these guys no lie, and seen the guy trying to push them away and the girl not giving up as she will not be rejected. this was at a very busy mall, some of these girls get away with a lot then when they get in trouble they pull the i'm only 15, and I think that if the kids today got grounded , or had to take more responsibility for their actions, or smacked on the back side once in a while they would think twice about what would happen if they got into trouble and have to face the consiquences instead of threatning their parents with DIFS or calling the police. The adult man should still know better and say no,  and walk , or run away as fast as he can before she really does a number for him, look what his family is going through now, was it worth it?

Ok, first off a Married man should only be with his wife!  Second off I think these teens and their parents should be held accountable too. These kids know what they are doing and they know it is wrong.  That is all that matters.  Even kids coming from good homes fall victums to todays "porn".  Sexual behavior is happening to younger and younger kids.  I feel sorry for the wife in this situation.  She needs to dump him flat.  This is unforgivable!  I mean if he cared for her he never would have put himself in a postion to have a relationship!  This man has major problems and needs put away.  The "15-yearold"  needs counseling and be held accountable for her actions and the state needs to look closely at the parents.
