11/02 Teacher Sex Scandal, Pt. 2

Quote From: mr_cheer

I'm only 19 years old and I just graduated from high school. Every single statement you made in that quote is 100% correct. It was very well written, and I agree with you 257%. That was very very good. It was very accurate. You spoke your mind in an honest candid way, and I think that everything you said is totally good. You said Children do not have the ability to predict the consequences of their actions. That is true. I second that and so does Dr. Phil. And Dr. Phil will see that. I know she did it. She wont admit to it, but she did it. There are teens who will argue your opinion. Im a teen, and I wont argue you, i will agree with you. Nicely done, from Cheer.
You KNOW she did? Why are you one of her accusers?

it sounds like you have already prejudged ALL teachers.  Open your mind that kids do fantasize and make up stories to impress their buddies!  I think the boys are liars and don't have the guts to admit it!!!

hi, because of the information given by the young men, the information sounds truthful and reasonable to me. The boys seem like thier being honest, and have nothing to gain by this. I watched her reactions to the idea of the boy being next toher on the show, and she looked very upset, and somewhat sad.  Her reactions, seemed somewhat fake.  Especially the note she wrote, and what she said it meant, (that sounded dumb and didnt make any sense).  I really believed the boy on today, just from what he said, and watching hhim speak, and unlike her, he seemed very confident, and truthful, where as she seemed scared, unsure, and frightened, by the whole thing.

I feel if she was interrogated again, more questions, she may mess up......or forget what she already said. And maybe we can find out the truth that way, or possibly a lie detectors test. Even tho, he didnt pass the test, i believe, even still, that  it can be wrong at times do to different circumstances..

I think her husband is probably just naive, poor guy.Maybe she just has a sexual addiction, and got caught up in th moment....but what she did was wrong......and she if she did actually do these things.......needs special counseling for this type of illness. I think the boy was very brave for coming on the show, and that she made a mistake by coming on ....only made her look more guilty.....I hope they find out who really did it......but thats my opinion on this........jill in florida

It is so amazing to me that when women respond to this issue, they think she is guilty. When men respond, she is innocent. Females, pay attention. This is what teenage boys do. They make up stories about their sexual exploits, down to the last detail, so they can brag to their other male friends. This woman did nothing, and these boys got caught bragging about their sexual encounters - THAT NEVER HAPPENED. As a male, I know this. As females, you don't have a clue.

I honestly believe that these young men concocted this story and have destroyed the life of a young educator.  It is unbelievable that this could happen, but I  know that young have very vivid imaginations and that once they begin to exagerate between themselves, that they are unable to distinguish between truth and a lie.  I believe these young men concocted this story, got caught in a lie and now rather than admit to a lie that they continue to express what they have convinced themselves really happened in their minds.  Not a one of them could pass a lie detector test given by experts, one even dropped his charges, when confronted with the facts truthfully.  They are to be pitied along with their familiesand  the school board  These young men and their families and the school board have no moral character and apparently no conscience, if they did they would apologize to this young woman, her husband and family.  They all sound like brats.  I truly hope that this teacher will sue all of them and win.  I am appalled that it had to come to this.  Where did her rights go, I thought it was innocent until proven guilty.  I know that those who have cast stones will one day have to answer for their wrongs.  ALL of them....Thank you for having this as one of your shows.

Cheer,

Read the other replies. She was quick to jump on a bandwagon of assuming innocence or guilt based on a tv show. She over generalized about educators. She spouted her 'threat'. That is old fashion bad reporting. As a critical reader and smart consumer, you need to watch for someone jumping on a bandwagon , talk about retaliation and to make a statement about a whole group.
Those people start and perpetuate rumors, inuindos, bias, propoganda and riots.  Thank for yourself and don't 100% agree with anybody, much less 256% . She slammed 'all educators' and made statements about educators as a whole. That should have been your first clue to read no further. Please study how to read critically and how to form opinions in a classic rhetorical manner.  Best wishes and don't be a lemming.
