Quote From: shevbiaHow sad that at this point in time there are still women that go around having unprotected sex. With all the information, warnings and available education we can still find women acting as if they were living in the jungle. We are so good at going to other countries and tell/teach them how to live a "better" life and yet we don't seem to be able to reach our young generation. And why is t that now a days less and less people want to be responsible for their acts?
Even a generation after AIDS has become a fact of life, men appear to have no sense of responsibility about using condoms during sex. I am trying to date and am 46. Anytime the possibility of intimacy is discussed, I bring up the using of a condom, the response I get is "I don't need thembeencause I'm healthy and I am only with clean women". They deny ever have taken an AIDS test, they insulted at the suggestion, even when they report that their ex-wife was unfaithful.
So, even when men are old enough to be grandfathers, they take no reponsibility for fatherhood or safe sex. While it may seem unfair that men are finacially responsible when a woman becomes pregnant, men do have 2 choices: 1) not to have sex and 2) to use a condom to avoid both pregnancy and HIV. Since a woman faces the demands of pregnancy, she should make the final decision about what happens to her before during and after the pregnancy.
