The real issue is that society looks at women as children. Dr. Phil would quickly say that children can't consent. Joelle was raped and now she rapes chilxdren. SLEEPOVERS? THERE IS A BOUNDARY AND IT CAN'T BE CROSSED. oh, I am getting tired of people leaping before they look. There was NO sleep overs. She married at the age of consent, we do not know, nor is it our business how they first meet and it is amazing how we always blame the teacher or "adult". And SHE is the victum here.
For those of you out there who complain that teachers are not "teaching" but then promply nail all of them to the cross for "calling at home", " having students over the home", being involved with them or in otherworse "caring". Get a life. Quit blaming, pointing and throwing all the burden of education onto the school system, when it frankly, is the parents responsbility.
I went over to my teachers homes, my father had his students over his hom. My uncle took students on field trips. My father paid students electric bills...so they would have a light and their parents could not...should he "not be involved"?!!! I was yelled at and frankly quit teaching because of all this...and I CARED.
QUIT JUDGING!!!!!!!! A child,especially a sexually active 15 year old boy can not lie! No one has dared to question why he was sexually active at 14-15 years old BEFORE this lie. Where were his parents?
