IF ANYONE DISAGREES, I WILL CONSIDER THE ARGUMENT, THAT BOYS AE MORE EMOTIONALLY MATURE THAN GIRLS. 1. An adult male who marries an adult female is not a pedophile. I am very sick of reading posts from people who defame her marriage and claim her husband must be a pedophile. Do your research. They became involved after she graduated. This is well documented and it appears that the marriage was supported by the community as many of the faculty and town members attended the wedding.
2. The point people are trying to get you to see is that the 'sleep over' was actually called 'French Camp' and was conducted with the approval/consent of the school and the parents. There is a big difference between what you view as a sleep over and what was a structured but informal educational event.
3. She refused the lie detector test because she currently has ongoing litigation against the school distict and was advised by both her attourneys not to take the test. Why pay a laywer if you are not going to listen to them?

Ok, I see you are one of those you just judge in order to get your own point across. YOu make an accusation at me now, because you did not like what I said. Fine. I will not talk about the Catholic churches issues. I guess because I am one of the those "werid americans" who have lived in other parts of the world. I have seen other ways of looking at things... Ask yourself, why do you have SO MUCH ANGER and SO MUCH JUDGEMENT. Could you not for one moment assume that she is innocent and look at it from her point view...or even people with simular experiences. But instead the daggers fly. It is percisely this "attitude of Amercians" that has gotten us into SO MUCH TROUBLE in the world. Open your mind, the world is more than this. Ultimately the responsiblity of this young man is his parents...and at 15, either they have the morals or they do not. It is up to the parents to allow or disallow the theorical "sleep over". I quit teaching because of judgmental parents and school districts...it was not worth the hell you pay, for such low amount of income and the threats you take...such as the one you are dishing out. Teaching in EUROPE is a whole other matter - the daughter of a close friend was educated in Sweden. Talk about night and day. Parents backup the teachers and students are REQUIRED, mind you REQUIRED to openly discuss sex, language, religion, so they will have a complete understanding and make proper educated decisions for their lives. You do not get this nonsense and rantings. These "children" are even sent on trips to other countries with their teacher...do you see any "shocked" parents? No because after the age of 14, children are expected to behave and accept consequences (and I might add it is the LOWEST pregancy rate amoung teenagers in the world) And we wonder about why our kids "Amercian" make the decisions they do. We hide in a closet subjects that are simple biology and should be openly, without shame, discussed. Assuming for one moment that the boy was telling the truth...at 15, the boy should know better, and where are his parents? It is simple at that. Back to the truth, I still do not believe him and back her up all the way. She can teach my children anytime, any place, with complete confidence in thier safety...and hopefully speak better french than I do. Please quit making excuses for this "child" and for one moment, "open your mind" to the other possibilites...instead of putting everyone in this very convient box. |
