Quote From: cinemavenIt's exceedingly rare for any child to have a breastmilk allergy, much less two in one family.
Did you check with your doctor? If you had, he most likely would have told you to cut out several foods that your child was likely reacting to that were getting to them via your breast milk. Cabbage, cows milk and spicy foods are among the number of things that can cause problems for babies but it's not your milk causing the problem.
Saying breastfeeding doesn't fit today's lifestyle makes me feel as though you just didn't wish to be inconvenienced. "Perhaps bring benefits" also tells me you are extremely ill informed since all doctors will tell you the immense benefits of breastfeeding. Breastfeeding fit easily into my busy lifestyle and it certainly was the method most convenient for my baby.
Breastfeeding isn't for everyone.... some people just don't have the nature to commit to it and some people have serious problems breastfeeding. My best friend wanted to breastfeed but her nipples were so badly chafed and bleeding that it became impossible for her to do so. You question this woman's decision to NOT breastfeed her children? and basically call her an idiot and say its exceedingly rare for any child to have a breastmilk allergy. What are your credentials regarding breast milk?
