I will assume you are a young girl with your naiveness (sp) of course not all Arab men are bad, not all white men are either, or black men, or asian men... BUT SOME ARE. Being able to speak english has nothing to do with how he treats her, talks to her. Seeing marks on her, they are new right now but it doesn't mean he hasn't hit her or bit her (they are good at that) Don't be so naive about men

He didn't have to say a word.  His body language showed that he is not to be trusted, Is very disrespectful and very controlling.

 

This girl is in trouble as long as she remains in contact with him.

  He admitted to calling her bitch, whore and slut and then said that's normal. I'm sorry but it doesn't take a thimbleful  of brains to recognise that this man has a controlling personality with an attitude of contempt for women. There are red flags all over this relationship. She must get out. When did verbal abuse of women become normal? Maybe in his culture but not in mine.

 

 He is bad news.  He calls her bitch and is calling her family names as well.  The abuse has already started.  You don't see any marks on Katherine yet.  If they were to be married and lived in the middle east, the physical abuse would begin.  She would lose all ties to her family and be stuck in a muslim world.  Open your eyes you idiot!!!

Assume the worst?  Did you not watch the show?  The previews show Katherine saying that he bit and kicked her.  Also something about threats to her family.   Because someone doesn't have visible marks on them means they haven't been abused?  WOW! 

 

I doubt he was using the wrong English words when he called her a slut and wh*re and called her aunt a b*tch.  When Dr. Phil asked about the vile names he called Katherine, he felt there was nothing wrong with it.  He showed absoutely no respect for her or her family, not to mention being a liar, so I don't think those of us who have reservations about this guy's intentions are assuming the worst.    

so now you have to see marks on a person to say they are in danger really get real and why is he lying to her and her family if he loves her that a way to show  love for her and where in that whole 2 shows say that arab man are bad they talk about the war there and that shes being lied to and he hiding something what he is so its not assuming to worst because the worst  has already started she has no one there to safe her or help her there

for your information, marks are not always left in visable places in regards to domestic violence. this young man is a product of his environment and most likely has seen many women be hit as well as verbally and emotionally abused and is carrying on these traditions....at least the verbal abuse as we've heard.

 

Besides, YOU saw her on TV via a satellite connection....how much could you really see except her face? He's already beat her down to where he can call her bitch, whore, and slut and she responds as if he is calling her sweetie, darling, or honey.  That tells a lot about this young man and nothing very nice.

Parents complain about the lyrics of some music, and bad offensing language on tv shows and movies. People, do you not realise that this what some people in other countries think is the "normal" way to behave in the United States? What else do they have to go by? If they have not had the chance/opportunity to travel? To visit the US? Why would they think otherwise?

I am sure there are people living in rural America who have the wrong idea about large cities like LA and NY.

Yes, some people think using the words b..., and wh... , f..., and m/f... is how people converse in the United States.  After all, they do watch Chris Rock, and listen to explicit music!
