First she wasn't in communications with this creep for two years when she tried to go meet him the first time. Secondly, You don't "know" someone from even two years on an internet or even phone connection. She was a foolish, immature spoiled brat who thought she knee best.
No, the family should not have gone to palestine to meet this creep the first time. They should have taken her phone and internet privleges away and sent her to therapy for those two years. Then before she hit her 18th birthday, THAT'S when they should have contacted Dr. Phil so he could manage this thing.
