I'm not sure I get your comment/question. Are you suggesting bottle feeding is easier than breastfeeding? If so, you can always have someone else bottle feed some pumped milk or formula to give you an occasional break. I personally find breastfeeding to be the easiest thing in the world and I would never trade it for getting up to fix bottles constantly and having to keep things sterile and in stock. Please clarify your comment if I misunderstood. I understand how it is to have my husband away out of town and it is tough. I would never wish being a widow on anyone and I am very sorry if I hurt your feelings, and sorry for your loss.
But it is important women make the choice of using formula after considering the information. I would hate to just assume it's as healthy as nursing and later be disappointed in my own choice and for not finding out the truth. Experts rate formula as the fourth feeding choice behind 1. Nursing 2. Feeding expressed breast milk from mom, and 3. Feeding someone else's donated expressed milk obtained from a milk bank.
