I am a newbie here and i am so happy that i found this group. The holidays are coming and i always feel alone. I have a husband and two boys but my siblings are dysfunctional. My prayer is that before i leave this world that all of my brothers and sisters will come together as one. Please pray for me and i will pray for you. God bless.

www.drphil.com/messageboard/topic/246 This message board and Depression Message Board seem to have the most activity if you come here and feel alone. I was hoping this board would have more activity but I think lots of people gravitate to the boards that have the most activity. Nonetheless, I stop by and say prayers for blessings for everybody. I hope everybody is blessed abundantly and blessed a lot. Me too. Hugs and prayers, SEA

Whoever wants to join me can via the links above and on powerful, prayerful DAILY walks to happiness. Keep a DAILY POSITIVE AFFIRMATION line ruled notebook and title each DAILY page SELF MATTERS includes you then sign your name with confidence. Then, write a page a day of positive affirmations of yourself and your life's direction. Example: "I am calm, relaxed, poised and confident." DR. PHIL QUOTE: "You're the one who talks to you, all day, ever day. Characterize messages you send yourself by a rational and productive optimism." www.phnet.fi/public/mamaa1/mcgraw.htm
Shallow breathing has been linked to depression, anxiety, and panic. Cooper Institute just proved successfully that walking 45 minutes a day raises endorphin level which naturally elevated the mood in mildly depressed non-responsive to anti-depressants. Dr. Phil had an expert on this summer who said oxygenating the brain with physical exercise is vital in relieving anxiety.
Finally, the synopsis on ALL of Dr. Phil's books can be found searching by title in above search box or visiting links below:

Healthy Habits and Healthy Lifestyle most times equals Optimum Mental Health. Depression is the sign something needs to change. Finding what works for you is like picking out shoes and not one size fits all so above may not work for you. Above that experts suggest works for me and I hope above works for you too. I am heading back to what works for me and like Dr. Phil says: "See you in the sunlight."
