You are not crazy. I almost fell from my chair when he said it is normal to call your female very bad names. No one can convince me that such treatment is the path to love and respect.. Do all muslim men treat their women like that?
Probably not all of them do but I have heard many muslim men on the internet call western women these names. If a woman has sex before marriage then they "assume" them to be sluts.
