Scary guy

Quote From: mkresner

I was at the taping of the second and third shows and this guy is scary. He constantly contridicted himself when telling his of he supposed crimes. His obsession with his wife is beyond needing to bewith her - he would say or do anything to keep her under his thumb. Dr. Phil clearly saw through the nonsense he was dealing but calmly walked him through his story. I give him credit for that. After the first show, my friend and I discussed his appearance and both agreed he was full of it.

During the taping, Dr. Phil assured everyone that there was extra security both visible and not. A security guard was positioned next to our section of the audience during the entire taping.

Hopefully, you'll see the to-do he got into with the former FBI agent who administered his lie detector test. He truly showed his real personality without all the layers of self promotion he spouted through out the show.

While I felt sorry for the wife, it was hard to see why she married him in the first place. Now she is frightened and feels stuck.

Definitely worth watching.
The wife defanantely needs to try to get over these conflicting feelings because her life is in danger. I felt that way every time i saw him on tv yesterday. Plus when I saw the previews for part 2. She and her kids needs to run fast!

I disagree with you. She is as screwed up as he is. He had a perfect right to attack the former FBI agent. That agent shouldn't have left her in the house. Wade was correct and the FBI agent was stupid in his answers.

I am new to the Dr. Phil show I'm sorry to say, but I tuned in to this story and I just have to say that if my marriage got to the point where I even felt the need to have my husband TAKE a lie detector test, I think it would be time to at least separate and figure out what was going on. I would hope that I knew my husband better than that. As far as Wade and Michelle on the show today, I think he's a nut job and is making all of the stuff up about the murders and rapes just to get attention from Michelle so she will feel sorry for him and possibly stay. I hope she will come to her senses and leave safely with her children in tow.

Thank you for posting what happened when you attended shows 2 & 3.

I haven't read all of the messages here so forgive me if I'm repeating a question, but how were you able to attend both shows?  Were they taped the same day?

Thank you so much for your "insider" comments.  After watching all three episodes, I felt like Dr. Phil had been seriously played -- the story just seemed too unbelieveable and rehearsed.  By the end of episode 3, I felt like Michelle and Wade were "in on this together" making up the whole crazy story.  As an adult you can lie down next to whomever you choose each night, but what human being puts her children to bed in the same home as a possible serial killer?  Oh yeah, and after we put them to bed, let's role play being raped....It appeared to me that Dr. Phil was totally sucked into his (and her) behavior, but after further consideration, and reading what the atmosphere was like being there, it makes sense that he was trying to keep things calm for the safety of everyone in attendance.  I was glad when the FBI agent stood up to Wade.  Good lesson for me not to judge others unless I'm walking in their shoes....but boy did this shake my faith in Dr. Phil!  Not sure if I'll continue watching in the future.
