If the police cannot corroborate any of the crimes he has confessed to with the level of detail given...... could you not ask the ex wife about his claim that he raped her? That should be an easy one to corroborate - - providing she is still alive? And why not give a polygraph for his other claims?
Bottom line here is - the man is a psychopath. She needs to get out NOW, with the kids, somewhere safe. Wade has himself and his actions to answer for and she does not need to be dragged any further in to his hell. Run.... take the kids.... and just GO!
Okay I agree with you on this one, but there has to be stuff we are missing.. its not possible to hold it all in and be so stone faced about it, in the face of all this turmoil and apparent murders, (Or accusations of such murders...). It just doesn't make sense.
Now, what I want to know is if she is seeking a way out of her marriage (I am not siding with this Wade guy.. it IS possible that he has commited these horrible crimes.. but the question is.. proof? You cannot do much on verbal confessions on a legal standpoint without a exsiting cause for concern or physical evidence) She is either a stoic individual that has difficulty showing emotions, or lying herself.
Just think of it this way.. If you found out your mother had ran over your dog when you where a child, but had lied to you.. saying that Sparky had run away instead, how would you feel knowing that someone you love lied to you about something of that magnatude and is only telling you this now, at a much later date? You'd feel betrayed, upset, flustered, and even to the point of anger.
Now, take that feeling and kick it up about twenty thiusand times.. that is roughly the emotion this woman, in theory should be displaying. and thats what I don't understand... I can understand her calming down when she removed herself from the situation and got her kids out of the immediate area of danger... but lets think a moment.. She wasn't just stone faced on the set of the show, she was totally calm and relaxed as if it was a routine conversation you'd have on the streets... i mean honestly. She is calm on the phone with Docter Phil yet.. Nothing ... total stoicisim, no emotion.
The FBI and local authorities, along with quite a large number of councellers and what not are dealing with Wade and his apparent confessions to serial murder and serial rape.
I think his wife needs to be put against the lie detector... She did cut her arm..
As for Wade... If he did actually commit these crimes.. let him rot in jail.. The death sentence is to easy of a way out..
My condolences to the family of his victims.... may you get justice..
