I ABSOLUTELY AGREE

Quote From: gitana2007

There is something wrong with a woman who can be so calm in the face of all this "supposed" criminality.  I think there's more to this- on HER part.
I think the woman is battling some serious mental issues as well.  The kids are in the most danger here.  The woman is just making matters worse and I am suspecting that she thrives off the drama and having everyone worried for her.

I agree.  I once had the absolute misfortune to date a man who turned out to be married AND a pedophile.  His wife knew all this on some level and let him become a teacher despite it.  (He's since been convicted of raping his wife's mentally handicapped daughter so he's not a teacher.)  Like marries like.  But this woman has only been married 4 years so maybe there's still some hope for her having more empathy for other people.

I totally agree, there is something that is not right about how she is acting.  On the phone is calm and in the studio she tries to push a tear out to show her fear.  It just doesn't come across real to me.

Something wrong?

I know through personal experience that when someone is so overwhelmed with a traumatic event, the human brain will numb the person and leave them void of emotion. My sister was beaten, choked, kneed in the chest by her boyfriend several years ago. He had applied so much pressure on her chest that he ruptured her breast implant. When I came over to the house that night, I found her on the couch in a bewildered state and she was adamant on not wanting to go to the authorities. Needless to say, that same night I convinced her to go to the Police and they took photos of her and along with obtaining a taped confession. Even after everything that she went through, she refused to press charges claiming that she still loved him (and still does). The state attorney picked up the case and he went to jail.

Everyone handles these situations differently. But undoubtedly, once this fiasco is over and only when her children are safe will she allow herself to mourn. Truly is it amazing what the human mind can and will endure. I know the Doc will have plenty of resources available (as usual) and thank god for people like him that are helping bring these issues to the light.

This woman is hiding something. She is a cutter. Plus, she calls her ex whom she has a court order against and claims she doesn't remember doing that. Plus, she stayed with him a long time after he confessed that stuff to her.
