10/07 The Latest Debates

Quote From: appsas

I think the point you (unfortunately) made was that breastfeeding in public wasn't 'attractive'.  That is very sad.  Who ever said it was an issue of attractiveness? How many fat bellies do you see hanging over their low rise jeans in a day?  Is that attractive? Should they all go to the bathroom to eat their lunch? I hope that you will one day have a baby of your own and realize what it means to love something so much that you are willing to be unattractive.

so then, since perhaps one may find a bottle of artificial baby milk unattractive, should she have the right to ask that woman to go into the bathroom to feed her baby?

Would you feel better to know that I also find those low rise jeans very unflattering and would do away with them if I could? But that was not the topic, was it? But I did mention it, didn't I?

As for having a baby- I never will. I have made the choice to never have children, so your wish will never come true. I am sorry. But that certainly does not alter my point of view; that common consideration should be EVERYONE'S priorty. Being selfish, rude and entitled has become much too common place in America.

There will be no babies. That is not everyones goal in life. I said "Some people find it unattractive" . Actually, it is a matter of showing respect for people around you.
