Women in Canada do not all know how to fight back. I am a canadian woman, and a Social Worker, and I have seen time and time again women staying in unhealthy, abusive relationships. It is no different than in the US. To imply all women in Canada are 'above' being in a relationship like this is ignorant. We can fall victim to unhealthy, abusive men just like anyone else can.
And bring him here to Canada just to show him what's what? No thanks. His country can keep him.
I think Katherine is very indecisive and I worry that she will not keep her promise and stay away from Abdullah. He is very manipulative, and we saw a dose of his anger on yesterday's conclusion.
Her mother has every right to take away her computer. No computer = NO my space. Why are people so naive about these sorts of pages. At least....make it private! Add people you KNOW. I really, do not understand with all the findings that have been done to prove the dangers of unknown people on the internet, we all fall into these pages.
That's not to say mature adults can't make their own decisions, but obviously Katherine could not and did not handle the maturity and responsibility that comes with it.
