Unless there is evidence of some sort of conspiracey between the father and son, there is no reason to punish him. I understand the Dr Phil show wanted to make sure the girl in question was safe, but I am fearful that there might have been too much intervention and that innocent Americans may end up having to pay the price some day. His father should be punished for aiding a runaway to leave the country. The girl was only 16 when Abdulla's father bought her the plane ticket to leave the country that is why he should be punished.
