Yeah, as much as I would love to see a woman leading this country for a change from time to time, I would rather it be one that came in on her own merit then one that is voted in because of media attention.

I thought the Catholic bishops insulted the intelligence of the flock by, in effect, telling the faithful that abortion needed to be the "litmus test" issue (yet again!).
For the faithful to use as a deciding factor in voting? LOL....if so (I think that's what you meant anyway, correct me if I'm wrong)....it would be typical to keep people's attention focused on that, creating more separation...then to unite the country and assuring someone may just be voted in that is actually....qualified to deal with the more pressing issues at hand.

Sad but true. Officially, they are also anti-capital punishment and anti-"unbridled capitalism," but I guess in their eyes, those issues pale in comparison.
