He might call a couple of you KNUCKLEHEADS!!! or maybe say..Hows that working for you!!!! HE told us before the show that day its his favorite day of the year. SHAME on all of you for trying to make he and Robin feel bad.
If you like him..and watch him regularly..then you should know he is a good man, that thinks things thru. I'm sure they do plenty for the "poor and deserving folks you all talk about..." Hes that kind of guy!!!! and has the resources...
I want to thank each and every one of the people that understand exactly what happened on that show.. Dr Phil and Robin arranged to be the vehicle to deliver to people that the show PICKED...a nice Christmas. Not any of us..know any and all their stories. Some of the sad tales here, might...measure up to them... The ones I talked to that day..HAD NOTHING..left after the fires... No TV to watch Dr Phil on, no pans to cook with...NO computer to write mean spirited things on...etc etc.... Losing everything you own..basically makes you and easy person to buy for ...you have nothing..so anything is OK. I personally at the show..saw some of the people giving their toys they received to the toys for tots barrel, and to other people that had kids. I know many of us...shared with neighbors...and people less fortunate... PASSING the BLESSING ON!!! Having sat in the audience and having seen with my own eyes..the genuine joy that Dr Phil got giving these gifts...was enough for me. Ive watched the same shows you have and felt jealous, and why not me...then this time..when it was me..I was so blessed..but its sad that there are so many people feeling so left out. Ive worked hard my whole life, was disabled at a point in my life...and lived thru some tough times...but I never could have bought any of these things for myself, i too would have never believed Ide get a chance...to be there that day...none of us knew why we were there, we thought we were there to see a show about recovery from the wildfires... Thats what makes the gift special to those of us who got them.
I want to ONE MORE TIME SAY>>>>>>> Thank YOU Dr Phil,Robin and family....thank you for having such a heart... last year the Katrina victims....this year the fire..and many handicapped and disabled people... You did a wonderful thing...don't stop.... and I love my watch....(smile)haven't taken it off....NEVER will....if I have anything to say about it!!!!
I hope I'm never in a another wildfire situation like this years it was HORRENDOUS, SCARY and surreal... TV couldn't even show a 10th of it!! Be happy and blessed and safe...and most of grateful for the fact you are alive and breathing, many aren't after the fires...many had horrible losses... Pray for them. I AM SUPRISED THAT YOU KNEW THE TOPIC OF THE SHOW.....ONCE AGAIN IT ISNT TOLD IN ADVANCE ALL SHOW'S ARE SUBJECT TOO CHANGE. And that's beside the point......I think what some people are getting at is. It would be nice to actully see the good that is being done in the world today.You know when there is a tragedy of this magnitude and all kind's of people poor there heart's out giving to the red+cross and other non-profits all the one's that drove by in there car's and put there cash and change into the buckets small children dummping there piggy bank's.....Gov & State,County help. They are going to have the help they need to get by. They lost all they had correct, Now with the help they will receive,they will be able to have much more than they started with........Granted it willnot be all there cherished belonging's but they will not starve they will have a roof over there head. Head's of state will make sure thay are will taken care of. So now back to the issue. People that have very little or have made bad financial choice's, have had health problem's which created financial setback's,thing's that just happen,they are not at fault !! But do they get any help? Noooooo Not in the world that the lower class know's or middle class know's if you have any finanial problem's there is not a lender on this earth that will help you on good faith. without making it harder on you in the future. And this Calif that I am mainly talking about....Now Katrina that's a whole other story, That is justa plain meltdown Something is wrong with that picture. The federal Gov & Fema need's to Step up to the plate and quit worring about the election and do something! As we all know and should just face is there will in the future be NO Middle class the Gov is going to faze us out there will only be Rich & Poor So People the time is now to get off the issue of who has what and just lookout for yourself's, and your family's the best way you know how......look forward to a better tomarrow try and make as many changes as you can to make our middle class a proud and strong place to stand!
