Yea
Quote From: tracy_77Breastfeeding in public. Whats the harm. The breast has become so sexual that it cannot be used for its intended purpose. Sure we can see men walking around topless...nothing sexual there. But if your a woman cover up? Backwards.

"its not attractive"? What a stupid comment. Not worth commenting on that one. I am a breastfeeding mother. Every mother and child have this right. Infants do not have patience. Its a survival instinct. A hungry baby will not "wait" until you've paid for your meal or you've gotten a "free stall" in the washroom. They need to eat and eat right away.

I'm just not good at nursing with a blanket! I've tried. I used the blanket, I used a shawl...I tried to go to the bathroom, I would go to my car. I was so uncomfortable and nervious that my milk would not let down. My daughter wouldn't take a bottle and she would feel my tension trying to nurse in public. I would try and "conceal" everything and nurse her. She would pull and tug. She would cry I would cry ...until one day I said I just don't care anymore!!!! LET THEM LOOK! And out it came. My breast bared and my baby finally happy. 10 mins. Only 5 seconds of a bare breast. Mom happy, baby happy and you know what. No one around me even noticed!

How often does it really happen to you nay sayers out there. Is it really that bothersome? I doubt it. You just want to find something to complain about. Get over it. We have breasts for a reason. Do the research bottles are not as beneficial to babies. Also if you offer it too soon to a baby that is too young they may reject the breast. Breastfeeding is too beneficial to the baby to risk such a thing in order to save you 5 seconds of "embarrasment". Again...get over it!  You go girl.
