Quote From: moodymitzySorry someone is not going to get deported for a DUI. Why do you ask because it is NOT a deportable offense. How do I know this, how do you think I know this because I have dealt with this before. I have seen people that have numerous DUIs and they will not be deported. They may have some issues with becoming a citizen, but that is not what you are talking about.
Yes it happened to my best friend's husband. She told me everything that happened in detail. He was in his truck outside of a club listening to music waiting for his ride to pick him up because he had been drinking and did not want to drive. A police officer came up to him saw that he had been drinking and charged him with a DUI. He had to appear in court but nothing could be done to help him even the fact that his wife and daughter were US citizens. He was sent back to Mexico and we thought he would be able to come back in a year to refile for citizenship but now his lawer is saying that he needs counseling and something else can't quite remember to be able to come back. His record was clean the only thing he had was that one DUI. You need to get your facts strait because this happened. There was nothing else on his record.
Me and my friend that have heard of others that have bene treated much worse. Every illegal they catch is deported wether or not they have a record. Yes the police in Tulsa are stealing id's to arrest hispanics. One friend of mine was a legal citizen and she was deported because the police stole her id and she had no proof of that she was who she said she was.
Yet it is very confusing when you know this yet you have no problem with close to 20 million people being in the US illegally. Intersting and very scary.
How did you come to that conclusion? I have said more than once that I believe that all the illegals should be deported. They have no right being here if they are illegal. I do however beleive that they should be treated like human beings and not animals.

Sorry your friend didnt tell you the entire story. You need to get your facts straight. Why dont you walk into your local immigration office and have a chat with an ICE agent and they will even tell you that a person that is illegal can walk into the office and nothing will happen to them if they DO NOT have a felony. Obviously there was more to the story then your friend stated or your friends husband was not disclosing his past.

If you are talking about catching people cross the border then yes you are correct they will process them and send them back. Not really rocket science here.

Really she had no proof that she was a Citizen? Odd, seeing that I have numerous ways to show I am one. If she was naturalized here it is very simple to show that. Also, if this is true I am sure she will be suing the government, yet nothing.
I do however beleive that they should be treated like human beings and not animals.
How do you come to that conclusion? Have you ever been to a deportation facility? Have you ever seen someone go through the NTA process? So your views on what other people have told you, right?
You also have stated that illegals should be deported, but not your friend because he is married to a USC? Why should he be excluded he broke the law. Also, no one is stopping the wife and child to move down to Mexico.
