I am a single mom of 2 teenage boys (16 & 19)...been a single parent for 11 years.  When are parents going to wake up, stop making excuses, and start making their kids behave?  It's not hard, its a matter of priorities...kids come first when you're a single parent because you have double-duty to do.  My boys know better than to misbehave.  Wake up parents and do your job!!!

there you go mom!  i've raised three boys in the past 14 years alone, and you could not pay one of

my son's and all 3 of them are grown to stand in my house and curse me.  If you don't like what im

saying you'd better take a walk and come back and talk to me like you have some sense.  parents'

aren't parents anymore.  they let the kids do this and that, they basically raise themselves because

they are never there.  they don't monitor their friends, pay attention to where they go and what they

are doing.  you plant a plant in a garden, and if you don't weed that garden and keep the weeds

away they wil kill your plants.  and that's how raising children are to a point. if you don't monitor and

keep the bad things to the best of your ability away from your children you loose them.  you go mom!

im proud of you and myself because we know what it takes to get them where they need to be in

this time and place, and it isn't easy. congrats!!!!

OK, I watched this show with my BF. I have two children of my own, he has a daughter, and we are now expecting one of our own. I just broke down. This Mother wants to blame all the issues on him...Oh my goodness. I felt for him. When he broke down after Robin held his hand, you could tell this young man does not get any love at home. After hearing those hateful things come out of her mouth..."Dirty Pig" "Your nothing". I was reflected back on when I was a child. TO this day I know how I was treated as a child...however my Mom says exactly what his Mom said..We love you..we are kind to you. How on earth can she claim it's only been the last year and a half???? Did anyone notice the perpetual frown on her face...that's not a year and a half worth...that's a life time of unhappiness. Sorry, but it's true. Muscles do what you train them to do.

Anyhow....I totally agree with...parents need to step up. It starts when they are young...treat them like humans...and give them responsibilities. If they are disrespectful, thank yourself for it. For this Mom to loose her mind the way she did...unbelievable. I was ashamed to see that. I was sickened to see what this young man went through. I wished I could take him home.
