Patent Question

I think he said the U.S. patent office website and apply for a "provisional patent" that costs $105.?

This is not a patent .. it is a "Provisional Patent".  It is good for protection for ONE year.  At the anniversary of the filing date, you must have a formal patent application filed, or you info becomes unprotected public knowledge.
