Are you for real ?

Quote From: sleiffer

I believe the parents should be held accountable, these girls are obviously minors and just because they did something stupid doesn't mean they should pay the price for their actions.  A prank is a prank, shouldn't happen,  these young adults know right from wrong, they did something bad and think they shouldn't be responsible, NOT!   Having fun and laughs at someone else's expense isn't  appropriate and consequences should be administered, why slap them on the hands and say  WARNING, it doesn't teach them anything except, I got away with it, not ok in my book.  One way of stopping things like this is not to allow cell phones at school, it can be done, or only use at breaks or lunchtime, grab hold and prevent this from happening again....
Im confused by your response. Your opening line  is " These girls are minors and therefore they shouldnt  pay the price. Then you follow it up with "their young adults and should be responsible". Perhaps it's this type of "waffling" that has our teens in a "I'll get away with mode". When disciplining (or teaching) a child let your "yes" be yes and your "no's" be no.  Yes, the girls should be disciplined. Every action has consequences....if one behaves the consequences are so rewarding !

Do you really think that schools allow the phones in the schools.  They do not allow phones in any schools during class time my child can only use theirs once school is over and that is it.  What you say and what they do is 2 totally different things.

We can't keep GUNS & WAEPONS from our schools why do you think they can control the cell phone thing!

As parents we need to make sure our kids understand right from wrong and know if you don't want it done to you then don't do it to someone else and at the same time remember when they leave your home they are on their own to make their own decisions and you can only hope that all you have taught them stays with them and they practice it.

My mom always said to me growing up..."you made your bed...you have to lie in it" and I feel these girls and their families have a high price to pay but it is far from what the other families have gone through.

No pitty from me that is for sure!  Girls are way too comfortable destroying other girls over mere jealousy and they can't even admit it is jealousy!  My neice has done this same thing to another girl except the pic is different but the result the same and she doesn't see anything wrong with what she has done and it actually disgusts me at the thought that she can be that evil and he mom and dad think she is so wonderful and great and would never do any wrong!  I love my neice but she is very disappointing and I cannot do anything about what she has done because my inlaws feel its all harmless!

What goes around comes around!! Sorry girls hard price to pay but it has to be paid!
