01/28 THE BAGGY PANTS DEBATE

Quote From: derevna33

The problem is that the males are not covered up.  When a fellow should wear size 34, and instead he wears a 42, with the crotch down to his knees, it is easy for his friends to de-pants him in the hallway or cafeteria or gym.  There is a rule now in the high school that I attended that the third time your friends drop your drawers and your colored underwear go with them, you have to start wearing suspenders.

I know it's funny.  The local high school insists every year they have to buy a dozen or so more suspenders.

When I was attending school girls were not allowed to wear pants/slacks/ whatever you want to call them. We were told we MUST wear a skirt and blouse or a dress. If any girl showed up in pants or slacks she was immediately sent home to change. I respect that and think these kids who wear baggy pants ought to be sent home if they show up at school with baggy pants whether the underwear/boxers show or not. They should be tought to respect themselves as well as others in school and the community. I feel the same way about seeing women with their breasts cleavage showing.  It is totally immoral as far as I am concerned. What are these people advertising? I was sitting in a fast food restaurant and a group of high school kids were sitting just outside the windows of the restaurant. One of the boys walked over and mooned everyone in the restaurant by showing his bare bottom. I was totally ashambed of him and wondered what his parents would think if they knew he had done that. There was a woman with small children (girls) sitting at the table near me and she walked out and told the boy to pull up his pants. I don't know of a mother alive who has not seen a bare bottom, and I was not impressed at all. I wanted to go out and paddle his bottom. I also wanted to ask him if he was showing his age or his IQ!!!! I notified the manager and she asked the boys to leave, as well as a young couple of high school age sitting in the restaurant talking after having eaten the food they purchased.
