MS & Valentines

That is tough. I know what she is going through. I hurt my back two months before I got married. They had to push me in a wheelchair to the rehersal and onto the boat we honneymooned on. A few years later I was diagnosed with MS. New marriage, New step son, New everything. I was really scared.
But it turned out great
Katie I truly understand your anxiety about the diagnosis of MS. I was diagnosed with it same as you- loss of sight in one eye. Dr. Phil was so right when he says there have been so many advances in the treatment etc. I was 30 when I had my first major exacerbation, married with 2 young children. I am now 49 yrs. old and still mobile. I have had a few incidents, but with steroid therapy on these occasions, have recovered. I have been on Betaseron for 11 years now and have only had 3 incidents in those 11 years. You will need to learn to listen to your body and rest accordingly. This is sometimes the hardest thing to learn. Get involved with the MS support group. Best of luck to you.
