Amen!  Why is it that people who cheat with a cheater think they won't be the next in line to be cheated upon?  Dr. Maya Angelou has a great saying, "when someone shows you who they are, believe them."  How desperate does someone have to be to agree to be involved with someone who's unavailable in the first place? 

 

She did not know he was married; he lied to her and said he was already separated..or divorced..from his wife. She also was very clear with him about not wanting to get involved with anyone who'd been married more than once, or had more than one child...and he lied to her about that, too because, he said, 'He didn't want to lose her.'

 

 But, I agree, that's something you should confirm BEFORE  you get into a relationship. 

You need to listen carefully to what was said...she did not "have an affair" with a married man, so SHE thought...he was dishonest with her.  Kristina is a very intelligent, honest, trust-worthy human being with a beautiful heart.  She would never intentionally, knowingly get involved with someone who was SUPPOSED to be already committed to someone.  The only thing she is at fault for is believing in someone she cared about.   Who's to say that the men who state they are "clearly divorced" are being any more true to her than Lee??  No one really knows everything about anyone, only what you've been told or can see!!  People hide things all the time!  That's why it's so common that "the next door neighbor", or the Boy Scout Leader, or your priest can get away with child molestation time and time again before they are caught!  It is beyond me how you can honestly say that this woman is who is at fault!  It's true that if someone cheats with you, he'll most likely cheat on you, but Kristina had no idea he was cheating to be with her!

  I'm finding it difficult to understand she believed all those lies. He must have did a good job at hiding his life. Was there no clues he was married? did she never meet his friends?? Talk to people who knew him? She must have been a very naive young woman. However now she does know, she would be better to be rid of him, hes completely false. there was not a single tear in all that acting he did on the show....  move on with you're life Kristina, you'll find a young man you're own age  eventually.  Take this as a lesson and move on. Hes a looser pure and simple.. hes not sorry ... hes only sorry you found out and are moving on. there's lots of good men out there.... go find one and leave this old  jerk  in the dust. life is too short to be saddled with this crap.
