I will defend homeschooling to anyone including Dr. Phil

Quote From: asukavx

I took homeschooling up lightly, and it makes me feel better because now I am at home and not having to worry about anyone else distracting me or having the constant worry of being assaulted, or even killed. And I don't have to worry about my mental health either.

I pulled my son from school in the fourth grade for many reasons.  He has the right to a good education because he is gifted.  Because of his intelligence he was made fun of.  His teachers had too many students in one class and he was forced to stay on their educational level.  I also pulled him from school because God is not allowed in school.  I am so tired of certain people who think that their rights are being stomped on by having God in school because they don't believe.  So these people can go to court and say they are being discriminated against, so they take the rights of Christians away to please a small group of non-Christians.  I also do not want my son exposed to all of the sexual innuendos at school.  I believe that courting a person is a lost art.  I want him to know that he should and is expected to wait until marriage to give the most important gift to his wife.  It can only be given once.  I speak of this by experience.  I didn't wait.  Did I regret it, HELL YES!  I am a nurse and my son is informed of sexually transmitted diseases, condoms etc.  But....He also knows what I and God expect from him.  Anyone who has a problem with that.  Bring it on.
