07/17 Living on a Prayer

My brother in law has not worked since 1994 and has maintained the fact that the Lord is going to give them the million dollar house and all that they need one day. The girls were being home schooled until a neighbor went over and found the basement swarming with flying bugs. She called DSS and they made them put the girls into public school. The oldest daughter was kept back a grade but the youngest was only in the 1st grade so she was ok. They have never been able to have friends over or have any kind of live of their own outside of church. I was always taught that God will help those that help themselves. Sitting on YOUR duff all day long is not helping yourself or your family. It is being lazy and dependent on someone else to provide for the family that you brought into this world and that God gave YOU to protect and provide for. As you can tell, this has alway been a touchy subject for me. Get a life PEOPLE! a major kick in the pants is when you sit on your behind for yearsand just work a little here and a little there and don't support your family, when you get older and you retire you won't get nothing. i live on 30 dollars a month, because i missed drawing more because i was short four quarters. i did work some and babysitted for years didn't pay it in and that hurt. but i was a housewife cooked cleaned and raised 3 boys and had a stroke/coma and i am in a nursing home on medicaid. if i would of worked those four extra quarters i would have medicare and therapy but i don't. those 2 peas in a pod are just pathetic and dr phil; gets 19 lashes with a wet noodle for not doing an update because it has been 5 months since they ran the first show. sincerely, teresa Phil. 4:13
