Dan is 4 months behind on his $800 a month mortgage payments...to a millionaire that may not seem that much yet to one taking a min. wage job...a life time to catch up on...and only a short time in which to do such...for he is in the process of not being able to provide the roof that at least his family have been a living in...so a dime an hour job...wouldn't help solve too many problems at this point...

The point here would be that even bringing in a minimal amt. would prove that he is making an attempt and at least help to some point. Whoever's parents that are helping them out would probably appreciate it and whatever job he is interviewing for would have a current job record/ performance to draw off of. As for the mortgage, he maybe 4 mos. behind but if he had an income the mortgage company maybe willing to work with him..esp. with the current atmosphere now. If the wife's skills are more marketable , then she should work and he could stay home and school the kids...you just have to do what it takes.
