Who wouldn't want to be God's butler?!
Quote From: allyoopPlease read Proverbs 31 and Ephesians 5:22-32 (if you have a Bible...otherwise, you can go on-line and read it (New King James Version). I believe it. Every word. Woman was taken from Man to be a "help- meet." That means to meet his need for a helper - a partner: To rule & reign, together, over the earth & subdue it, as Genesis reads. The problem: they fell from His grace & chose to deviate from the Plan. When Ephesians was written, it emphasized on the same premise: That man and woman guard their relationship to one-another as sacred & cherish each, the other. Not expecting to be cherished & served, but to gladly serve the other as if he/she were serving God...The greatest being Who ever lived! The One who created us. Who wouldn't want to be God's butler?! Although I will admit that I fail repeated at fulfilling that wonderful plan, I strive everyday to allow my heart to be changed in order to make my husband feel that he is the most important person in my life. I've seen great results come from serving him, happily. I just pray, each day, that I can put my thoughts to actions more diligently. I wouldn't want to be anyones butler?! I don't serve anyone but myself. I don't believe that anyone is here to serve God. I don't believe there is ONE GOD. But that is a whole other discussion. I think we are here to bear witness to what we do on this planet. To this planet. To each other. The fact of the matter is if you don't want to be treated a certain way then don't treat others that way. If you want respect from your spouse show respect to them. If they treat you badly and will not consider correcting their attitude towards you, get out. But that is only what I think.
