Replies to '02/22 Hell Weddings'

While it may be a day for both the Bride and the Groom, when it comes down to it, most of the money is spent on things that the Bride wants for the wedding.  The Groom is as involved as he can be or wants to be in many cases, but you wouldn't go out and spend $5000 on a tuxedo for one day would you?

 

My fiance and I have decided that it will be day for both of us to celebrate how much we love each other and start our new life together.  Like my fiance has told me, the wedding is about you and your beauty, but the reception is about us and having a good time! :)

The feeling I got from many people and vendors is that if your wedding isn't considered the most important day of your life then that means there is something fundamentally wrong with you. Some women need to remember, there would not be a wedding if the quivering pile of DNA at the end of the aisle (read, YOUR FUTURE HUSBAND) were not there! Get over it!

Such BS! I have had lots of important days in my short (25 year) life and hope for many others!
