I'm GLAD Dr.Phil is doing this show for girls that may be anorexic now, to say, "this is an extreme case" and your disease can kill you or cause permanent organ damage if you don't get help. I hope Aimee recovers and can get back to living a healthy life!

I hope Aimee will have a good healthy recovery. I'm sure it will be hard for her. Its good to see Dr. Phil bringing her good top notch team of doctors and a treatment facility. This show was hard to watch. I felt bad for her when she was talking about how she got to were she is in that one segment. The relationship with her dad and the molestation and rape would be hard on any young girl.......
I think in the first message I may have tried to write that if she had continued what she was doing and worked towards losing 20 or 30 more pounds her body would not make it. It always helps to watch the show first before coming to the boards............
I think this gets to be a bad lifestyle habit. Its a way of living day in and day out. It makes you dangerously underweight, and your body comes a point when it cant take it no more......
This is obviously a problem nationwide and I wish Aimee the best..........
