I totally agree with you that the actors and actresses from days past were so much classier...which is why I love TCM channel and rarely watch any of the intelligence-insulting crap that passes for movies now. Stars back then were REAL stars and did not go out of their way to be photographed exibiting bad behavior. Not that they didn't do anything wrong....for sure, they did! The difference is that the studios tried very hard to keep them out of trouble and cover up for them when they did screw up. They didn't go looking for trouble....which made them ever so much more interesting!
A steady diet of celebs behaving badly is boooorrring!!
