I haven't seen the show yet, but as far as I'm concerned, the less you use a word, the more power you give it. That's just my opinion. I feel that way about swears, derogitory names, etc. In the end, they are just words. We choose what we want them to mean and how much power, offensiveness or pain they have behind them.
