So then why ????
Quote From: robinppoolI am a "middle-aged" flight attendant and there is NO way we would have a passenger removed for being "young & cute". It isn't that easy to have a passenger taken off a flight. Removing a passenger is a joint decision and includes the F/A's, the pilots, customer service, etc. While these girls may not have believed they were a physical threat to either themselves, other passengers or the crew, they may have behaved in a disruptive manner while boarding. Loud, disrepectful behavior does make flight attendants concerned. Remember we are responsible for ALL the passengers, in such an enclosed space as an aircraft we have to make a judgement call in just the time it takes to board. We don't know you, our decisions are not "personal". If it appears that you may disrupt the flight or interfere with our duties in any way, it is not only our right, but our responsibilty to have you removed for the safety of both passengers and crew. Most flight attendants are extremely professional. Our jobs and the health of our companies rely on passengers, we both need and want you to return to our airline. We all know airline service has changed over the years, but so has passenger behavior. We know you "paid" for your ticket, but that does not give you license to bad behavior. With the hundreds of thousands of people who fly everyday, I find it amusing that these women think that the flight attendants discriminated against them because of their looks. If that were true, I am sure there would be more than just these few with the same complaint. The majority of flight attendants are too busy to notice how you look, but we are trained to notice how you behave. While I realize that you have a tough job I still don't like the fact that one flight attendant who THOUGHT it was me that said something (when she was totally mistaken on the flight out from Atlanta) and cause me time and money without hearing one word from me. The higherups listened to her and her alone and told me to shut the F up. And even if I HAD made a joke about a plane being a "puddle jumper" it WAS one and that is a common term used, then why kick me off and then allow me to fly at all? She claimed that a young child had heard the comment and had gotten scared - well the only young child sitting on the whole flight was less than a year old - so that kid really understood what was meant by a puddle jumper? Yeah give me a break.
But I hope these girls got their comeuppance from the audicence as well as Dr Phil - I can just hear him saing "are you KIDDING me?" lol They as well as Kyla need to go back under their rocks and not come out again
