As for Bishop Jakes...is he like a Catholic Bishop? How did he get that title? I've never heard of a "Bishop" preaching in a Protestant venue before. So he's on the show promoting his book(s) and put a moral spin on Spitzer's situation cause if he had good Christian morals, this never would have happened, right? Spitzer is Jewish, so maybe a Rabbi would have been a better choice. I know of bishops in one Protestant denomination, Episcopalian.
But, don't think they hold the same power as Catholoc
bishops. In TD Jakes' case, I'm not sure what the term means. As
for morals, they don't have to be Christian, Jewish, or even religious.
I see nothing wrong with a Christian commenting an a Jew's moral
short-comings. A Jew commenting on a Christian's. Or, an athiest
commenting on either's.
