That depends on where you are. Sure, OVERALL in the U.S. you figure 100 men for every 103 women. Big deal. Go to a hardware store and stay out of the paint section. Now the odds are in your favor at least 10 to 1.
Or go to Asia. China, 117 men for every 100 women. In India, the
official rate was 113 to 100, though spot checks in some locales have
turned up ratios as high as 156 to 100.
World wide, with 6.5 BILLION people, the empirical law of averages says we can't get much closer to 50/50.
