The only reason for this being said would be because there was enough evidence to put her away for life. My only question now is What was the Prosecution THINKING!!! WHy give her a PLEA???? She willingly murder this boy and now shell eb out before we know it.

I totally disagree with you. I watched the show as well and I feel that Brandi did show remorse. I believe that she is correct in feeling hurt for her family. How do you know she hasn't apologized to his family before. They don't look like they're ready to accept her apology anyway. I don't believe she meant to hurt him. I'm sure she was going faster that 20-30 mph, but tell me what teenager doesn't drive too fast. That doesn't mean they drive around looking for someone to hit.

I believe that lawyers don't always do what's best for their client, they do what works for them. I think she's telling the truth about the lawyer changing her signed document right before court. It was a very dramatic experience for everyone involved. She thought her lawyer was doing what was best for her but instead he screwed her over. I think she served her time. Let her go HOME!!!

maybe so amybe she did do it on purpose which is inexcusable..but who should EVER have ANY right to set an example by taking that persons life away? does it prove anything? no it just goes to show that we need the satisfaction of kicking someone when they're down so we can feel better. trust me..as far as i can tell.. ITS NOT HELPING

FINALLY, someone who is thinking rationally. i totally agree with you 100% my whole thing has been you arent gonna through someone 48 feet going 20-30 m.p.h. and then drive home 30 minutes away, emotionless. she probably couldnt cry because she was thinking up an aliby. even "if" it were an accident, she addmitted to hitting him and she addmitted to not going to a phone and calling for help or stopping to check on him, if someone deliberately jumps out infront of my car, especially someone i have or had feelings for and i hit them i am gonna STOP!

Someone that was listening! and observing!

Both families sides are angry....no kidding.....but Brandi's father acted like he was standing there when Brandi hit Daniel. He should keep his words quiet. I feel for the kids......Brandi's brother and Daniel's sister. Brandi's brother is being ignored and should be in therapy before his anger gets out of control. Daniel's sister is so angry and it's being fed through Mom's anger.....she will be a bitter women unless she gets therapy.....as for all the parents.....they should go to support groups or get therapy also. Brandi is where she is supposed to be. There is no sorrow in her eyes for killing Daniel...just sorrow that she isn't home. When Dr. Phil asked her about the 60 miles and hour in the trailer park....she rolled her eyes......I saw no remorse there. No shame.

What happened to you? Soooo much anger? are you sure you aren't PART OF DANIEL's FAMILY?

Go to your nearst trailer park after dark and see if you can get up to 60mph and swerve in between vehicles. I don't think there is ANY way she could have been going that fast. I think they pleaded out because she admitted she did it, and they didn't have enough evidence. Yes, she should be in prison for the sentence she was given and stop whinning about it. Yes, she killed a boy.

Yes, I think she HAD to know something happened.

Yes, I HEARD her say she was SORRY to both Daniel and his mother/family.

Yes, I think she deserves to be in prision.

When Dr. Phil asked Brandi towards the end of the show if she had anything to say to Shiela, she DID say she was sorry for taking his life and all the experiences Shiela would miss...not that I am fully convinced she is innocent, but at least base your harsh comment on fact...

The question of why was she going so fast other than to hurt him?? Have you ever driven upset? As an adult I have found myself going far past the speed limit in an area where the speed limit is between 25-35. Granted when I look at the speedometer I slow down and check all my mirrors hoping I wasn't clocked and thanking God I didn't get that ticket. Never did I intend to hurt anyone, and thank God even more that that has never happened, I don't know that I could live with myself. That never crossed my mind. I have worried about hitting someone's cat or dog, but I worry about that every time I'm driving in the area of my home barely doing the speed limit, which is 55 because their are no leash laws and many pets run free.
PS If this girl has no remorse why does she try so hard to avoid saying his name?
